Following are the Terms and Conditions of your Hobart Hurricanes membership. Benefits and conditions of your membership are subject to change and are at the discretion of the Hobart Hurricanes.
By registering as a Hobart Hurricanes Member, you are agreeing to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions outlined below.
DEFINITIONS
"Hobart Hurricanes" or “The Club” means Hobart Hurricanes of Ninja Stadium, Bellerive, TAS, 7018.
“BBL” means the men’s Big Bash League Competition played under the auspices and control of Cricket Australia.
“WBBL” means the women’s Big Bash League competition played under the auspices and control of Cricket Australia.
“BBL|15” and “WBBL|11” refers to the Big Bash men’s and women’s seasons that are currently expected to commence on or around October 2025 and conclude on or around February 2026.
"Member" means a person who has joined and fully or partially paid for a membership with the Hobart Hurricanes for the duration of the membership in the applicable BBL/WBBL season.
"Cricket Australia" means Cricket Australia (ABN 53 006 089 130) of 60 Jolimont Street, Jolimont, VIC 3002.
"You" or “your” means the individual person who is designated as the Member in the completed Registration Page that is completed on-line at https://am.ticketmaster.com/hobarthurricanes/#/ or on the application form received by the Hobart Hurricanes via mail, fax, email or in person.
Membership Terms & Conditions
1. A Hobart Hurricanes membership card remains the property of the Hobart Hurricanes. Membership cards may not be sold, exploited for commercial use, or used for promotional purposes or campaigns without the express written permission of the Hobart Hurricanes.
2. Memberships are fully transferable and may be used by any individual. Junior memberships are only transferable among juniors.
3. Entry to games is strictly subject to capacity. General Admission Membership holders are not guaranteed entry to Hobart Hurricanes home matches.
4. It is the responsibility of the member to notify the Hobart Hurricanes Membership Team, should their details change, including the issuing or withdrawal of concession status; member contact details; or any relevant information that could affect their membership with Cricket Tasmania
5. The membership purchased is for the WBBL|11 and BBL|15 season only. Memberships can be renewed before the start of each season and a member can re-join anytime should their membership lapse.
6. Membership may be discounted via special promotions via Hurricanes partners and sponsors. Any discounted price will revert to the standard applicable membership price for the following and ongoing seasons.
7. All membership prices are GST inclusive. Membership prices are set and reviewed annually prior to memberships going on sale.
8. Hobart Hurricanes Members may renew the same package they had for the previous season in person at Blundstone Arena, over the phone or online at https://am.ticketmaster.com/hobarthurricanes/#/ to access any invoices linked to their account. Members will automatically be renewed each season; however, they may opt out of automatic renewal with at least 14 days’ notice before their payment is due (July 1 each year) for the following season. When a Member renews their membership, they are accepting the Terms and Conditions of Hobart Hurricanes membership.
9. Hobart Hurricanes cannot accept any responsibility for membership cards that are lost. Lost membership cards can be reported to Membership Services via phone or email and may incur a replacement fee. Members who have their membership card stolen or destroyed may be required to supply the Club with statutory declaration. Replacement cards cannot be issued on game day.
10. Hobart Hurricanes reserve the right to refuse an application for new membership. The Club also reserves the right to suspend or cancel a membership, without refund, to any member in breach of these terms and conditions and the Member code of conduct.
11. All scheduling of Hobart Hurricanes games are decided by Cricket Australia
12. Hobart Hurricanes Membership Payment Plan:
12. (a) Monthly payments can be deducted via 6 monthly instalments on the 1st of each month via a nominated debit or credit card. The first payment will be deducted from the Members nominated account upon their renewal of their membership. Once paid, no payments are refundable under any circumstances.
12. (b) By signing on with a Hobart Hurricanes membership payment plan you authorise the debit of funds from your nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised. This can be accessed via your payment plan on your Hobart Hurricanes membership account online.
12. (c) All Hobart Hurricanes Members on a payment plan are automatically included into an Auto Renewal Agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your memberships from year to year. Members can only opt out of their payment plan after the last instalment and prior to the first instalment for the following season by notifying membership services either in writing or via email to membership@hobarthurricanes.com.au All outstanding payments must be complete at time of opting out from the previous season.
12. (d) Hobart Hurricanes Members will be given at least fourteen (14) days' notice in writing of changes in the new amount for their next season's membership and to the terms of the payment plan agreement.
12. (e) If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 1st of the month, three (3) further attempts will be made to clear the funds transfer the following days. If after three (3) attempts no successful payment is made, a $10 late payment fee will be added to the Hobart Hurricanes Member’s invoice for the season.
12. (f) Hobart Hurricanes Members applying for the payment plan option after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date. The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if payment is dishonoured by your financial institution.
12. (g) It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the payment plan period; (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
12. (h) If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact Membership Services on (03) 6282 0400 or email membership@hobarthurricanes.com.au. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for drawing.
13. Variation to Terms and Conditions:
13. (a) The Hobart Hurricanes may from time to time, where reasonably necessary, vary these Terms and Conditions. If the Club amends these Terms and Conditions from time to time in accordance with this Clause 14, you will be bound by all such amendments
13. (b) Any changes to these Terms and Conditions will be communicated via the Club’s membership website and/or email to Members. Members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to its Terms and Conditions. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions are effective from the time of posting the Terms and Conditions on the Club website or sending the email notification.
14. Hobart Hurricanes Member areas are family friendly areas, and members and guests are expected to act accordingly. Anti-social behaviour and violence will not be tolerated in any member areas. If you witness such behaviour, please notify a Hobart Hurricanes staff member so they can assist.
15. A Member may resign from the Club by giving at least seven (7) days’ notice in writing. If a Member voluntary resigns, they shall not be entitled to any refund of any joining fee or membership subscription.
16. Membership Category Definitions:
There are Two (2) categories of Hobart Hurricanes Membership.
Reserved Seat Membership (Ticketed)
General Admission Membership (Ticketed)
Three Game Smash (Ticketed)
Two Game Smash (Ticketed)
"Adult" means 16 years or over and do not hold concession status.
Concession" mean holders of a valid form of concession as outlined below are eligible for a concession price of Hobart Hurricanes Membership.

"Junior" means aged between one month and 15 years of age at 1st September in the year of the applicable BBL season.
"Family" means combination of either one or two adults with a maximum of four juniors.
For the avoidance of doubt, Non-Ticketed Memberships do not provide for access to games.
17. The price of a Hobart Hurricanes Membership will not be reduced on the basis that an applicant wishes to take up a Hobart Hurricanes Membership at any point once the WBBL and BBL season is underway.
18. Hobart Hurricanes Member Fulfilment Packs are issued only for the W/BBL season for which they were purchased. Club Membership Cards and Fulfilment Packages may be issued separately.
19. Hobart Hurricanes reserves the right to increase prices or change the categories of Memberships at its discretion at any time.
20. Finals Ticketing:
Your Hobart Hurricanes Membership does not entitle you to access to match day entry for the Finals Series.
If the Hobart Hurricanes qualify to participate in a Semi-finals or Finals game to be played at Ninja Stadium or University of Tasmania Stadium with the Hurricanes designated as ‘home’ team then all Hurricanes Members will be provided with a priority access period to purchase tickets to this game.
The details of the priority access period, including dates, times and requirements will be communicated to all Members via email in the lead up to this period.
Refunds for No Play or Limited Play/No Result outside of COVID:
In these circumstances 2025-26 Members will not be eligible for refunds although special consideration may be given where there are extenuating factors.
Hobart Hurricanes game access Members may be eligible for a 14% discount off their 2026/27 Membership if there is no result in any of the Hobart Hurricanes BBL home games during the home and away part of the BBL|15 season.
This discount is only available if:
less than 6 overs were played during the whole home Game; and
there was no result recorded in the home Game,
AND subject always to the following:
This discount applies to Reserved Seat Membership and General Admission Memberships only.
Membership for 2025-26 needs to be the equivalent category and price type to the Member’s 2024-25 Membership;
Members will only be entitled to this discount if they renew for the 2025-26 season;
This discount will not apply if the Member has a Membership that permits game attendance at a specified number of home games (e.g., Two Game Blast) and that Member did attend that number of home games in respect of which there was a result (e.g. in the event the Member has purchased a Two Game Blast Membership and they attended two (2) games that are not ‘no result’ games, then irrespective of whether other home games result in a ‘no result’, this discount will not apply;
The discount is capped at 14%. If multiple home games have no result, a maximum total of 14% will be subtracted from the Member’s 2024-25 Membership fee.
The discount and application of discount to Membership packages will be communicated by Hobart Hurricanes prior to the 2025-26 season, if a no result is recorded during the BBL|15 season on the terms described above.
Please note that this discount is applicable for Hobart Hurricane’s BBL home games only and does not apply in connection with a no result in BBL away games, any Big Bash Finals games, WBBL games, One Day Cup or Sheffield Shield games.
We will not be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses.
21. Privacy & Terms of Use of Hobart Hurricanes Website
21.1 The personal information which Hobart Hurricanes collects on the Registration Page is used for the purpose of processing your request for Membership of Hobart Hurricanes. Hobart Hurricanes may also use your personal information in the manner set out in Hobart Hurricanes Privacy Policy.
21.2 Any personal information which Hobart Hurricanes collects on the Registration Page will be available to Cricket Tasmania as operator of the Hobart Hurricanes in the manner set out in the Hobart Hurricanes Privacy Policy and will be disclosed to Cricket Australia in accordance with Cricket Australia’s Privacy Policy.
21.3. At any time that you enter the Hobart Hurricanes web site (https://www.hobarthurricanes.com.au/) you agree to be bound by the terms governing use of the web site which are in force at that time.
